Official CIA reports of flying saucers in Spain and North Africa detail sightings of UFOs in Spain, Tunisia and French Morocco. These documents were compiled using foreign documentation in the form of daily newspapers printed in French and Spanish in Algiers and Tangier. The following are the accounts documented by the CIA.

According to the document, 5 separate UFO sightings occurred over Barcelona, Tunisia, Meknes and Taourirt in Morocco, and Casablanca about 1 month prior to the Flying Saucers in East Germany event.


Smoke-Trailing Object Over Barcelona


In Barcelona, Spain on 22 May 1952, Valentin Garcia claims to have seen a "strange object" flying at high speeds from the direction of Prat Airport as he was crossing Jose Antonio Avenue. It was approximately 2,000 meters above ground and trailing smoke. The man stated the craft was rocket-shaped with no lights. 

Unusual Object Over Tunisia


In Sousse, Tunisia on 3 June 1952, inhabitants of the town reported seeing a high-speed object traveling from west to east emitting a pale green light. 

Flying Saucer Over Meknes, Morocco


On 7 June 1952 in Meknes, Morocco, two witnesses reported seeing a flying saucer. They claimed the saucer moved at "lightning speed", citing T-33 planes at a base nearby that in comparison moved very slow. The saucer emitted a white trail of smoke and was silent. 

Flaming Disc Above Taourirt, Morocco


On 15 June 1952 dock workers witnessed a "disk of white flames surrounded by two circular white strands." It had smoke trailing behind it. It appeared for 30 seconds and vanished. 

Saucer Over Casablanca


On 15 June 1952, former pilot Andre Assorin claims to have seen a flying saucer over Casablanca.
