Is the Sumerian Account of The Anunnaki, Niburu & The Solar System Correct?

Much mystery surrounds the ancient Sumerian civilization that seemed to worship an alien race called the Anunnaki or "those who from heaven came to Earth" 6,000 years ago, and for years, this civilization has been a mystery to archeology. The Sumerians penned what is considered to be the world's first written language, which scientists called Sumerian Sanskrit. The text was used for everything from merchandising in the village squares to record-keeping of historical accounts.

The Sumerians left behind very detailed depictions on their temple walls, tomb surfaces and common areas that depicted villagers bringing offerings to larger humanoids they considered to be their Gods, and according to their folklore, these humanoids came from another planet and created humans using genetic engineering. These Gods, The Anunnaki, are said to have given them the gift of language, arithmetic, science, and culture but used the race they built as a labor force to mine African Gold to use as a resource for their own planet's dwindling atmosphere.

Within that story, it is said that the Anunnaki sent androids to scout Earth 595,000 years ago, and then arrived on Earth themselves 445,000 years go and created humans. Ancient astronaut theorists believe that the Anunnaki were angered when the humans built the tower of Babylon in an attempt to reach their "Gods", as a result, the came down from space and confused the universal language of humans so that they would not be able to understand each other, and eventually be unable to continue advanced tasks together. This story is similar to that of the bible where the language of humans was confused after building the tower of Babylon as well.

It is believed that the humans were aiming to reach Mars, as that was considered by Zecharia Sitchen as the landing base of the Anunnaki on their way to Earth, which is corroborated by early images of the planet's surface that show lines like that of the Nasca Lines on Earth and grids similar to the ancient Inca stone blocks in Peru.

Sumer's (modern-day Iraq) story of creation is similar to that of other ancient civilizations, but while the story of the Anunnaki is similar to that of other civilizations around the world that speak about beings from the heavens that come down to earth to teach humans about various skills, what is unique about this one is the idea that the Gods in this story actually engineered humans, something Gods in most scriptures do not do with the exception of the Christian and Jewish God.

Also unique is the written record of specific interstellar knowledge the Sumerians had of the universe. Other ancient civilizations had an excellent understanding of the heavens, stellar alignment and a plethora of space knowledge; they used this information to plan everything from agriculture to birthing cycles, however, none has provided accounts with the level of detail that the Sumerians have. For example, prior to the invention of the telescope, most civilizations had no knowledge of planets farther than Jupiter, as they just can't be seen by the naked eye. But Sumerians clearly left behind records of Uranus and even noted its color, bright green - remarkable and unexplained as it wasn't until the 1970s when Voyager II was launched that we began to see planets beyond Jupiter in full color and saw that Uranus was in fact bluish-green. The Sumerians also noted Neptune as being bluish-green.

In fact, Voyager II shot down many previous theories about space and planets once it reached center space and actually corroborated most of ancient civilization's writings about space!

The Sumerians also had a written account of why Uranus has such a different planetary tilt, it sits on its side. According to their records, our solar system was invaded by another planet which caused collisions and damage to the existing alignment of planets, effectively knocking Uranus on its side. Scientific analysis confirms that a planet entering our solar system, as described, would cause the tilt of the planet.

In ancient Sumerian texts, Earth was noted as being the seventh planet, largely because they started counting from a planet outside of the solar system instead of from the sun, this planet is thought to have been Niburu, or "Planet X" where the Anunnaki came from.

Niburu, as explained by the Sumerians, was an intruder planet that entered the solar system and caused cataclysmic events, it passed near to Earth, smashing into it and breaking off a chunk of the planet's mass as it did. The pieces that flew into the solar system would eventually become the asteroid belt. There are a few scientific theories that a massive collision with another planet happened on Earth and that the moon was created as a result and the collision turned Earth, a crusted-over molten planet at the time, into a cool life-bearing one after the crust that kept the molten surface hot was removed by the collision. These two accounts are eerily similar, and can't be discounted as mere coincidence.
